The first picture is of Courtney # 1! When we picked C-#1 we chose a medium skinned doll that we thought looked most like Trin. Medium skin because Trinity is pretty tan. Tan! This doll arived looking a little less tan and more "ethnic"! Trinity didn't seem to notice and was super excited so I thought ok C-#1 is not that dark it will be ok. That was also the day of Alyssa's 2nd year family birthday party. A couple of comments later about Trin's doll looking extra dark and I started thinking. This doll cost $100 and I didn't want one of her friends to make a rude comment and then that's the end of our precious doll! (You know how catty girls can be.) You know how the lighting changes in your house when it gets dark outside? Well so did this doll! Courtney #1 started looking really bad ashy in color and when you laid her down and her eyes closed she kind of resembled a dead corpse. That's when I knew that this doll had to be returned! It had to be a defective doll. The only bad part is that Trinity had saved forever to get her and now we had to return her and wait 1-2 weeks for the new doll to get to us. This time in ordering we ordered a "light skinned" doll! Didn't want to go thur that again.
