Trinity's lemonade stand

Forever now Trinity has been dying to sell something....sheets of torn out paper, an old dog leash that she found, and tomatoes from our garden. The list could go on and on, and these are just a few of her brilliant ideas. I thought this Saturday would be perfect, because it was yard sale day for our sub-division, and a hot humid day makes people thirsty.

She wanted to look her best, so she wore a dress and her high-heels. I mean, how on earth can anyone expect her to sell lemonade without heels on.....right?

We started off pretty slow, a lot of people drove by real slow, I guess to see if we were selling yard sale stuff, and then drove off. Then neighbors started coming by so lemonade pouring was a plenty and she wound up selling almost all of her lemonade. Let me just say, if you see a kid selling lemonade, it is your duty as an American citizen to stop and buy a cup! It's not expensive....and it will make their day!!

She wound up doing pretty good. She made $27.00. Most people told her to keep the change. All and all, it was a good experience for her and I'm really proud of her!

Ofcourse, she wanted to spend some of her earnings. She bought a dress (duh) and some germ X. Germ X because she can draw a marker tatoo on her arm and it takes it right off.
Even Sissy was outside supporting her big sister.
